St. Matthew's Guild

The service rendered to the parish by this group is that of counting the money collected at the weekend Masses, preparing it for deposit at the bank, and posting the contributions of each parishioner for tax credit.  They are a very dedicated group who observe the strictest confidentiality.

Rosary - Altar Society

This group of women shares prayer and helps the parish community by doing the cleaning and maintenance of the sacristy and the sanctuary areas of the church.  They are also involved in fund raising, social and spiritual activities.  If you are interested in learning more about the Rosary -  Altar Society please call the rectory office.

Bereavement Ministry

The Bereavement Ministry Program is a group of volunteers who help the priest in assisting a family at a time of a loss.  Bereavement Ministries help the family in all the phases of the funeral ritem which may include the funeral home services, the Mass of Christian burial, closing prayers at the cemetery, or some type of memorial service.

St. Peter's Visitation Ministry

The Visitation Ministry is dedicated to visiting and bringing Communion to parishioners who are hospitalized or homebound.  If you of any member of your family are hospitalized or unable to come to Church, please call the rectory so we can serve your needs.  Volunteers visit homebound parishioners on a monthly basis or more frequently if desired.  These ministers often share the readings from the Sunday Mass, bring the Eucharist and keep the homebound interested with the news of the parish.   Communion is offered regularly to the home-bound by the pastoral team or by a Eucharistic Minister.  Call the rectory if you would like to help in this ministry.

Hospital Ministry

The pastoral staff and Eucharistic Ministers visit parishioners at the hospital during the week.  Be sure to indicate that you are a parishioner from St. Peter's on your hospital forms.

Activities Commission

The Activities commission is a group of men and women who plan receptions and various parish activities.
