Bethany Ministry

The preparation and serving of luncheons after funerals. Five different teams share in this ministry that is so helpful to grieving families.

 

Habitat for Humanity

St. Peter's is a collaborator with the Clinton County Habitat for Humanity which is based at the Peru Community Church in Peru, NY.  This organization builds homes for low-income families.

 

Interfaith Hospitality Network

This is an interfaith ministry to homeless families in the Plattsburgh area.  Area congregations take turns hosting homeless families for a week at a time while they look for employment and a home.  Congregations provide a place to sleep at night, meals, friendship and love.

 

Ministry to Shut-ins

Volunteers visit parishioners who are homebound and they bring with them Holy Communion.

 

New Beginnings

Ministry to divorced and separated meets every Thursday at 7:00 in the Upper Room.

 

Parish Nurses

Parishioners who are registered nurses are involved in health promotion and disease prevention, as well as serving as personal health counselors and integrators of faith and health.

 

St. Peter's Soup Kitchen

St. Peter's Soup Kitchen - takes place on Monday evenings at 5:30 p.m. in the Seton Academy cafeteria.
